These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI Resume Builder ("Service") operated by BuildATS ("us," "we," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Service Description

BuildATS provides an online platform for creating, editing, and analyzing professional resumes using artificial intelligence technology. Our services include:

  • Resume building tools with professional templates
  • AI-powered content generation and enhancement
  • Resume analysis and optimization suggestions
  • PDF export and download functionality
  • Credit-based AI feature access

Preview and Output Disclaimer

The PDF preview provided within the Service is for reference only. Final downloaded documents may vary slightly in appearance, including but not limited to fonts, icons, spacing, alignment, dimensions, or pagination. Such variations may occur due to rendering differences, browser behavior, or platform-specific factors and do not constitute a defect or service failure.

User Accounts

To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service to spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
  • Share your account credentials with others

AI Services and Credits

Credit System

  • AI features require credits for usage
  • Credits are purchased through our secure payment system
  • Credits do not expire but are non-refundable
  • First-time users receive one free resume analysis
  • Credit costs may change with notice

AI Content Disclaimer

Important AI Limitations:

  • AI-generated content is for assistance only and requires human review
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI suggestions
  • You are responsible for verifying all content before use
  • AI cannot guarantee job interviews or employment outcomes
  • AI cannot guarantee a perfectly ATS-friendly resume
  • AI-generated resumes may require manual editing, including adding, removing, or refining content
  • Resume scores, ATS results, and formatting outcomes may vary depending on the platform and employer
  • We do not guarantee any specific resume score or ranking from ATS systems

Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed securely through Razorpay
  • Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) including applicable taxes
  • Credits are added to your account immediately upon successful payment
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BuildATS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you create using our Service, including your resume data and personal information.

Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildATS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We will provide notice when possible.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
